Mr. Sanchez
Welcome to my classroom website.
To the left you
will see links to pages with information about Homework, Class Notes,
Classroom Policies, and other Math Links. I hope you find these
helpful.
With the summer upon us, it is time to begin planning those
camping trips, bust out the pool toys and sunblock and of course get
plenty of mental exercise. A huge factor in starting the year off right
is to not shut down your brain. Here are some suggestions to keep
the wheels turning this summer:
- Read a book (or several)
- Do a puzzle like Sudoku or a
crossword every day or week
- Take initiative at home or at a
summer job to fix problems
- Visit a historic site AND take the tour
- Keep each other accountable. Randomly ask
your friends if they remember ... (Ex. "Hey, do you remember how lame
it was when Mr. Sanchez made complete the square when we could just
have used the quadratic formula?)
Whatever you do, don't stop thinking, learning, analyzing
and growing. If you do, it makes both of our jobs next fall much harder.
