2008-2009

Welcome to our second grade class!  This will be a year of growth and challenges.  In order to provide the students with the positive educational experiences they deserve,  I have developed the following Classroom Management Plan.  We have discussed this plan at school.

To keep our classroom an organized and productive place in which to learn, we have established the following rules:

Be Safe

Be Respectful

Be Responsible

If a student chooses to break a rule, they will receive the following consequences:

1st - Warning

2nd - Private conference with the teacher

3rd - Silent lunch

4th - Silent lunch, and complete a Think Sheet during recess

*Severe Clause - Any student who severely disrupts our classroom will be immediately sent to the principal's office and parents will be notified.

Students who choose to follow the rules will earn individual and/or class wide rewards.  The rewards are as follows:

1.  Verbal Praise
2.  Good Behavior Tickets
3.  Positive Notes
4.  Rewards out of prize box
5.  Stickers/stamps
6.  Extra Recess
