Expectations

1. Follow directions the first time they are given.

2. Do not use any physical or verbal actions that distract others.

3. Be inside the classroom on time.  Do not leave until you are dismissed.

4. Bring all necessary materials to class each day.

5. Treat everyone with common courtesy.

Consequences

Behavior, tardies, and "lacks"

1st Warning: Write name on board

2nd Warning: Checkmark by name

If behavior is not corrected: Detention.

Repeated misbehavior or serious infraction: Referral and a call home.

Homework

Homework will be assigned daily.  It is expected that all assignments are to be completed by the due date.  Parents/guardians should check their child's agenda each day, and initial it.  Parents may also write their child's teacher a note in the agenda.

Accelerated Reading

The accelerated reading program (AR) goal for the first semester is 25 points.  Class time is limited so students are encouraged to read independently to reach their goal.  Students who reach their goal will be rewarded in December.
