Elementary School: Second Grade: Mrs. Mulacek

Classroom Management Plan

by Lori Mulacek

AppleWelcome to our second grade class! This will be a year of growth and challenges. In order to provide the students with the positive educational experience they deserve, I have developed the following Classroom Management Plan. To keep our classroom & school a safe, organized, and productive place in which to learn, the students will be expected to adhere to the Big Red Way rules.

1. Be Safe

2. Be Respectful

3. Be Responsible

If a student chooses to break a rule, they will receive the following consequences:

1st - Warning

2nd - Private conference with the teacher

3rd - Silent lunch

4th - Silent lunch and complete a Think Sheet during recess

*Severe Clause - Any student who severely disrupts our classroom will be immediately sent to the principal's office and parents will be notified.

Award 1Students who choose to follow the rules will earn individual and/or class wide rewards. The rewards are as follows:

1. Verbal Praise                                       8. Class Walk

2. Chance Cards                                     9. Special Game

3. Positive notes                                    10. Sit with a friend

4. No Homework Coupons                     11. Movie

5. Free Time Coupons                           12. Free Time/Extra Recess

6. Sticker/Stamps                                  13. Redbird Tickets

7. Computer Coupons                            14. Lunch with the Teacher

*Your child should bring home their agenda each day. In the agenda, you will find a stoplight and a conduct code. Each day I will check the appropriate light on the stoplight. This will inform you of your child's behavior and allow us to work together to help your child make more appropriate choices.

Sincerely,

Lori Mulacek
