Classroom Rules

My classroom rules are based upon the Top 12 Rules adopted throughout the elementary school.  Students are first taught about the rules and then expected to follow them.  The Top 12 Rules are:

1.       Clean up your own mess in the classroom

2.     Complete all homework every day

3.     No moaning allowed or work will be doubled

4.     Line up quietly and in single file form

5.     Make eye contact when speaking with someone

6.     Respond to adults by using ma’am or sir

7.     Use correct bathroom procedures

8.     No bullying allowed

9.     Always say thank you

      10.  Be respectful

      11.  No saving seats in the lunchroom

      12.  Always tell the truth

Behavior Policy

I use the Magic 1-2-3 as a behavior policy in my room.  The students are made aware of this policy as necessary throughout the year.
